Let us first see, and then talk about it progressively.

Zoom in and watch. Here are the two important things in life (not always though), described below:

  • Motivation: At the top, there is a motivation score (out of 10) of going to gym (in orange) and working out at home (in blue). It started differently, but there is a similar gradual increase. That means, at the end, both should have similar effect on the mentality.

  • Calories Burned: At the bottom, orange for gym and grey for home. Observable is that, it is also very similar over the 32 days. As we saw earlier, 8% lesser calories have been burned at home on an average. But how much does it matter, we will find out.

  • Equipment: In the middle, there are the number of extra equipment used other than what already available at home. There have been visible usage of extra equipment, but it has had almost non-existent effect on calories burned.

The biggest elephant: EATING

Did I follow the single most important thing to achieve my goal?

3 (gym) vs 7 (home) out of 32 days not followed (mostly on recovery days in both). One thing to notice is that the last day on which the eating plan was not followed was at the 20th day at home. After that, never missed. How did it all play out in the weight goal, let us find out.

Has the weight been maintained in both cases? Easy answer: Yes.

Elaborate answer: There has been a weight gain at home and a weight loss at the gym. But how much for both? 0.2 Kg. In daily life, you can deviate that much in two hours, so it would be safe to assume that it doesn't matter at all.
