The comparison here is in between the classic gym workout and the progressive home workout. What would suit you and me better, could be answered through the conclusion of this 64-day data.

This page will describe the main idea behind the data and what factors have been put into account to reach the conclusion.
The matter of importance.
“Whenever we set a goal for ourselves, we often forget that the most important thing is not the tools that we use to reach the goal, but the goal itself.”
Keeping that in mind, the goal here is to give a very clear and easy-to-overview data, which could help you decide for yourself, without going through the process yourself. And with that, the elephants in the room would be addressed to start with.
The matter of what and how (don't ask why).
“Be original, show off your style, and tell your story,"
(ripped off from the wix template used)
Allow me to explain the process used in simple steps:
Who Owns the Data: Me. This is my personal health data, recorded by me.
The 32-32 Days Utilized: The data has been collected over 32 days at the gym workouts and then 32 days at home workouts. Both of the 32-day time periods were at a different time in my life at (slightly) different body-weights. There is no non-active break during both 32-day spans whatsoever (non-active = doing sh** nothing).
Difference between Gym and Home: The obvious difference: Cost and Equipment. The equipment has been bought by me which I think is minimalistically important for each workout that I need to do to achieve the goal I want to achieve (undisclosed goal, but mostly muscle gain). The costs would be described below.
Workout Splits: The workout has been split into four different splits to be followed each day in cycles: Pull (Back & Biceps), Push (Triceps, Chest & Shoulders), Abs + Legs, Recover (Active Recovery). More would be uncovered about how it was followed in the upcoming data.
Weight Goals: There was an obvious goal of muscle gain, which have been conveniently replaced with the body-weight data (mainly due to extreme difficulty of accurately measuring the muscle growth with machines readily available at home). That's why, the goal of each 32-day span was to maintain the body-weight recorded on the first days of gym and home.
Other Revelations: The information crucial to start to understand the data has been provided, other things would be discovered on-the-go.
The matter of money.
How much (in Euros) would be invested on what in an year in both of the endeavours is shown below:

You are obviously free to zoom in and read each and every detail on the left. But the the most crucial one-line answer would be: 265 € vs 390 €.
The matter of data.
The collected data used for the visualizations and conclusions is owned by me. Feel free to access the excel data and go through it (if you want to).
